Victor Hasch was born on September 1, 1945 in Geneva Switzerland. He died in France in 2012.
Victor Hasch studied art at Cours Simon in Paris, France.
An excellent colorist, Victor’s palette is brilliant. There is truth to his colors; he is not one to muddy the paint. His method of painting was to create multiple veils of color, using a palette knife he would lay colors on a canvas and scrape down to reveal images of tremendous depth and velocity. Every Victor Hasch painting presents a glorious explosion of color. One can look through the veils of color, as each leads to another, revealing a sensational jeweled collage of images.
